 KNOWN ISSUES
---------------------------------------------------------------

If you are running the game on a system with a video adapter
with 32MB of video memory and are seeing visual anomalies such
as white objects or white sections of the terrain, you may want
to reduce the resolution of the game to 800x600 in the
Configuration Utility (accessible via the Launcher)

If the game is running slowly, you may want to reduce the
resolution of the game to 800x600 or even 640x480 in the
Configuration Utility (accessible via the Launcher)

Installation in Windows XP Limited Mode is not supported.
You must install under Administrator Mode.

3D Labs Wildcat(R) cards are not supported due to driver issues.
These issues were specifically observed for the Wildcat(R)
VP560. If you have this card and experience difficulties,
try updating your drivers; the problems may have been corrected
after release. http://www.3dlabs.com

If you have a dual monitor setup and are not able to run the
game, you may need to disable dual monitor functionality or
disable the spanned display.

If you are using a Logitech(R) mouse and the middle-mouse
button scroll feature does not work in the game, get the
Logitech MouseWare Advanced Settings program from
www.logitech.com. Run the program and make sure the "Enable
game detection" checkbox is set, and the "Keep other button
assignments" checkbox is not checked. http://www.logitech.com/

If you are running a virus scanner, and you are experiencing
unexpected behavior from the game, try disabling the virus
scanner. We have noticed virus scanners can cause issues.

If you experience graphical problems such as missing textures
or a blue tint to the display, please make sure your video
drivers have been updated to the most current version.

If you are getting popup advertisements from the Windows(R)
Messenger program and are having issues with the game as a
result, please turn off Messenger.

There are known issues specific to Creative Sound Blaster(R)
Audigy, Audigy 2, and Audigy 2 ZS sound cards when running
on motherboards with certain DDR RAM Intel(R) chipsets. If
you experience repeating lines, overlapping audio, or other
similar issues, please check the Creative web site
(http://www.creative.com/) for driver updates. If that
does not correct the problem, run the Configuration Utility
(accessible via the Launcher) and push the Audigy Safe
Mode button. This will set the game to run in a borderless
window at the same resolution as your desktop. If that
does not correct the problem, or you do not wish to run
the game windowed, please verify in your BIOS that
overclocking tuners and performance modes are set to
"Standard", that hyperthreading is disabled (if available),
and that the PCI Plug and Play O/S is set to "No"/"Disabled".
(Please see your motherboard manual or manufacturer's web
site for more detailed instructions for your particular
hardware.)

Some motherboards with onboard AC-97 audio experience
intermittent audio crash problems when running Microsoft
Windows 98 Second Edition. If you experience problems
try updating your audio drivers (obtained from your
motherboard manufacturer's web site) or consider upgrading
your computer's operating system.

If you are using Windows 98 SE or Windows Me with an nVidia
GeForce 6800(TM) video card and observe screen flicker and/or
other rendering problems, please make sure your video
drivers have been updated to the most current version.
If that does not correct the problem, please set the game
to run in windowed mode using the Configuration Utility
(accessible via the Launcher) or consider upgrading
your operating system.

The ALT-ENTER Windows key (fullscreen / windowed toggle) is
intentionally disabled.

If you are experiencing jittery, choppy, or other non-smooth
motion in the UI when running on very high-end video cards
(nVidia GeForce 6800, ATI X800(TM), etc.) you may want to
enable vertical sync. in your video card's driver. This issue
is caused by very high frame rates (hundreds of frames per
second) when vertical sync is disabled.
